Gack school started in 2008 with the pure aim to help the rural children of Nawanyago sub county, in Eastern Uganda to have access to quality education. This has been possible through the help of individuals who are seeking to make a change in the lives of millions of needy kids around the world. In our humble beginning, 60 children have been enrolled at Gack school. These children do not pay school fees because their parents cannot afford doing so. The teachers accept a small stipend contributed by well wishers to educate these children. The school started as a kindergarten with 3 levels but now we have primary level that has started. The school will grow organically with the help of those who want to make a difference in the lives of children in Africa. We regard these children as "Mine rich in gems of inestimable value" and believe that it is through education that these gems will be revealed.
